History: 

Ryan Graham was your normal college student looking to get his fine arts degree with the hobby of rock and mountain climbing. Imagine his surprise when he got invited to scale Mt. Fuji. With his team, they flew to Japan, set up base camp at at mountain, and set their climb for tommorrow morning. Being was so excited, he woke up earlier to get a head start. Bad idea. A freak blizzard stormed up, and he was caught in the middle of it. He had lost his way and contact with base. When all hope seemed lost, he sees this woman, and she's enticing him to follow her. Believing she has shelter, he follows. As he's following her, she starts fading into the blizzard. Despite losing sight, he continues forward. He then come up to this statue. It may have been fatigue, but the statue resembled the woman he was following. Ryan was freezing to death and getting weaker, so he hold onto the statue to keep myself upright. Suddenly, this cold energy, colder than Fuji's wind chill, surged through his body. He blacks out shortly. He finds himself in some sort of dream of this wise old man telling telling him he's been given the great power and responsibility of the snow spirit, explaining his powors and abilities. When Ryan woke up, he was just fine. The blizzard stopped and he was able to meet base camp again, telling them he barely survived the blizzard. He never told them exactly what happened, it's better no one knows. Ryan is able to communicate with the old man in his vision, Tairei-Meijin, in his sleep. It's important so he can get training in hand-to-hand combat, if needed. Tairei-Meijin also warns him of a demon scourge led by the demon lord, Oni-Shu. Ryan does what he can, as Yuki-Hito, to protect the world until then.

Powers / Equipment:

Transforms from Ryan Graham to Yuki-Hito by shouting, "Samui!" (japanese for "cold") To change back, he shouts, "Ningen!" (japanese for human); can manipulate snow or create it from the water vapor in the air. He can use it to bring up walls of snow, blast it at a force strong enough to knock a 350 lb. person off their feet, etc; can fly at speeds of 120 mph; able to resist temeratures as low as -50°F; can turn into a cloud of mist, which he uses to slip under doors, move through tight ventalation systems, etc; fluent in Japanese.

Weaknesses:

Fire damages him greatly; days of extreme temperature (93°F or higher) cause his powers of snow creation to dampen and reduces his stamina; is deaf and colorblind in his mist form; will freeze to death if he doesn't change from Ryan to Yuki-Hito at least once every eight hours.
