1-Supercharge- he is able to supercharge his body making himself tougher, stronger and faster for short periods of time between 10 to 15 minutes by directing an electrical field around his body. Reinforcing his muscles, bones and other tissues. However this requires a lot of focus for him to accomplish and does leave him very tired and vulnerable afterwards.
2 - Electrical power field- He is able to generate an electrical field around himself- the field isn’t strong enough to shoot lightning, or electrocute anyone. It ranges between 1 to 200 volts, sometimes more if he really pushes (dc power is easy for him to generate, ac power takes a little more concentration because he has to alternate his electrical field). It can deliver a good shock or daze an unsuspecting foe, but not very effective as a weapon. This power really shines when he acts as a battery for all manner of equipment and motors. When he does this its much like flexing muscles. Using this ability he is able to power a suit of armor, using servomotors to further increase his strength and protect himself from bullets and other projectiles. With the armor he is able to engage super powered villains in battle without supercharging which can leave him vulnerable if the fight drags on. This power field also helps keep him going, he doesn’t need more that 1-2 hours of sleep a day
3- He can sense electrical fields- He is able to detect even the smallest electrical current. Even the current that people generate in their bodies, much like an EKG machine (Electrocardiograph) that paramedics and hospitals use. This makes it very difficult to sneak up on him, and allows him to quickly assess the condition of wounded people, or villains playing possum
Weaknesses:
1- Powerful magnetic fields – such fields will disrupt his ability to maintain his own power field, causing his equipment to fail and stopping him from supercharging
2- Water- he has to be careful when he’s wet or around a lot of water, if he loses his concentration his power field can discharge into the water draining him and knock him out.
3- He’s afraid of failing- not living up to the ideal of a hero! Letting his family down.
4- He’s afraid of heights- it seems silly for a hero who can fly to be afraid of heights, but he is. Because of this he rarely flies very high. He prefers to jet around 20-30 feet above the ground. Flying to great heights requires incredible focus because as he gets afraid he loses concentration and his jet pack stop working.
