History:

On May 13, 2007, Crow Azulez awoke outside Patagonia, Arizona, almost directly across the country from his home in Menterota, New York. His clothes were torn and bloody (most of it, it seemed, was not his own), his memory of the past year, nonexistant.

Having no family or real friends in New York, Crow had nobody to contact who could potentially tell him what happened to him, or to send him money to get home. With nothing to his name but the clothes on his back, he decided his best bet was to hitchhike northeastward until he reached New York.

Along the way home, Crow met numerous people. Some of these people had very happy, sunny dispositions. Some were infuriatingly so, especially to someone in Crow's position. He grew to loathe them, and to wish those people would stop being so damn cheerful all the time. Soon, he realized, they did stop. Some of them retreated in fear. Some of them fell to the ground, sobbing. Some seemed to have simply had their minds shattered. It didn't take long at all for Crow to figure out that, somehow, he was causing these effects, and with some practice, he learned to control them.

He also found that he was starting to feel like someone was watching him, and that he had an intense aversion to people dressed in white, but had no idea why.

After wandering for quite some time, Crow finally returned to New York. Astonished acquantances informed him that one night, six months prior, his apartment had been ransacked, and he had been missing ever since. He was believed to have been kidnapped, and presumed by many to be dead. He had lost his job, his apartment, everything he owned, everything he worked for... for all intents and purposes, his entire life. (However, thankfully, since he was never officially declared deceased, his meager bank account was never closed. Small favors...)

What had happened to him that night six months before? Who had kidnapped him, and why? Where did his strange new abilities come from? And what was it about people in white that unnerved him so much? Crow needed answers, but everywhere he turned, he only found more questions. Fatigue combined with the weight of the mystery surrounding him, and the ever-present feeling of eyes following him everywhere, until finally, something in his mind... snapped.

Crow Azulez disappeared into the night, and from the darkness emerged a crazed spirit of fear and vengeance, ever-watchful, ever-watched... the embodiment of Paranoia.

Powers / Equipment:

Can psychically induce paranoia, depression, or fear in others. Strength of effect depends on Paranoia's concentration, and whether or not he has eye contact with the target. Slight chance of completely destroying target's sanity

Carries a pair of sickles as weapons

Weaknesses:

Paranoia is, himself, rather paranoid

Under extreme duress, goes into a berserker rage, after which he faints and forgets anything that happend while enraged

Has an irrational fear of people in white clothing

Creator (Real Life) Info:

I go by the alias Mr. X Indeed around Skiffytown. I'm an aspiring fiction writer, with intentions of becoming the next Stephen King. Whereas most every other hero in Skiffytown is based on/an alter ego of their creator, in this case, Paranoia is simply a character I'm developing for a story.

Character Rights:

The creator of this character retains all rights to the character's name, image, likeness, costume design, and background story.
