History:

I was scuba diving off the coast of Guam when I found a metal canister on the ocean floor.  I brought it to the surface to investigate my find.  While handling the canister on the beach, I accidentally broke it open, releasing a mysterious gas.  Before I could hold my breathe, I had inhaled some the gas and it seared my throat.  The pain caused me to cry out and I created my first sound bubble around my own head, damage my hearing by 50%.

Powers / Equipment:

I create a localized sound bubble around my target to focus my power up to 100 yards.  Inside that sound bubble, I can talk to my target, uses sonic frequencies to damage hearing, create white noise so target can’t hear, upset my target’s balance, or create auditory hallucinations.  I can also use this sound bubble as a parabolic microphone to listen inside the bubble.  This sound bubble is invisible.

I can focus my sound bubble as a solid ball that is yellow in color, I use it as a thrown object to hit targets or under feet to launch people into the air.

I can focus a sound wave under my feet allowing me to fly as fast as 140 mph.  This takes the form of a board that is called a soundboard.

I wear hearing aids to help overcome my damaged hearing.  These are an experimental model allowing me to hear frequencies not heard by most humans.  I can only hear at normal distances with these hearing aids.

Weaknesses:

My powers are extremely limited underwater.  I need to breathe to generate sound.

My powers don’t function in a vacuum.

I can only maintain a constant sound bubble for 20 minutes.

I have 50% hearing loss in both ears.
