History:

While hospitalized due to a rare and terminal illness, young Robert was taken to Limbo by a demon to have his soul taken. Before the demon could harvest his soul, an angel arrived and a battle between the two began.

Finding that he might lose to the demon, Elsier the angel, attempted to release Robert from Limbo but his attempt was thwarted by Russiar, the demon. The result was a large explosion that washed over Robert as his soul was rushed from Limbo.

A year would pass before the now 13 year old Robert would discover that what happened that night was not merely a dream. The ilness that would have surely taken his life was washed away that night, but he still felt that the events he had witnessed were ue to fever, not having really happened.

That is until one day while walking his dog, Spike, they were struck by a car. Robert was only clipped, but Spike was hit full force. His emotions taking over, Robert subconsciencelly stole the Life Energy from the crowd that had gathered and channeled it into his dying friend, saving his life.

Later that day he would discover his strength, speed, agility,and endurnace had all been augmented well beyond his 13 years. Finally deciding that what transpired a year ago was not just a dream and that he had actually encountered an angel and a demon and somehow obtained their power through the explosion.

Robert decided to make use of his new powers and made a costume out of a jacket with wings stiched across the back and a smaller set sewn at the ft chest area and a ninja mask he had work for Halloween a few years ago. Robert made his way to a nearby hospital that night and used his life siponing powers to take Life Energy from some and allocate it into the sick. After his time in the hospital, Robert saw an old woman being mugged and rushed to her aid. After defeating her attacker, the old woman asked who Robert was. Robert could not think at first but his eyes fell on a small statue of an angel that was stciking out of the woman's purse. Before running off, Robert replied: "The Guardian Angel".

 Adding a small wings pin to the forehead of his ninja mask, Robert would have many adventures during his time as Guardian Angel. He would earn himself many enemies, such as the very mobile Hell on Wheelz gang, the whiplashing Lady Nexus and her Chain Gang, The Infinate powers of Mr. Intencity, the tremendous might of Kid Torpedo, the unlawful antics of the inhjabitants of New Bliss City who intoduce him to his Robotic Rival, Zero, and last but not least, the mysterious Misery. Despite many hard battles and uncanny adversaries, Guardian Angel would not be stopped, at least not by any of them.

His career as Guardian Angel would be cut short after three years due to two separate but very much connected events. The first was a young boy who was struck by a hit and run driver, Ga had very little Life Energy in which to give him and was unable to find anymore in time. Due to his efforts, the boy's family was able to say goodbye but it wasn't enough for GA. After this, he tried very hard to always have an ampule supply of Life Energy at anytime. However, one night a woman would be gunned down in her home, GA had just finished using the rest of his Life Energy to heal a Children's Hospital when he saw the gunman flee and rushed into the house to find the woman fading fast. Ga would have no choice but to use her husband as the sole supplier of Life Energy to at least get her stable. But as much Life Energy he was forcing into her, more and more was leaving. GA could not bare to lose another person and pressed harder to get the Energy from her husband and into her and eventually he managed to heal her completely. But in his tunnel visioned haste, he did not notice that he had completely drained the husband and had killed him himself.

With all his ussual enemies apparentlly out of commision and his recent failures, Guardian Angel questioned his right to use his powers and decided to give up being GA.

 Despite no longer using his powers, they continued to grow. At age 18 he began to hear voices, at first he thought he had obtained telepathy but he soon relized that these were the voices of those who were about to die, their life energy reaching out to Robert in whispered voices detailing the whos, hows, whens, and wheres....practically begging him to help. There would be literally millions of whispered voices running through Robert's head at any given point in the day. He was beginning to go crzy but finally managed to get a handle on how to cope with the new ability. He even noticed that his augmented physical attributes were growing as well and were beoming increasingly harder to hide. Though everything seemingly pointed to Robert's taking on the role of Guardian Angel again, he would not.

He would not, that is, until one day he heard the death cry of someone near and dear to him. The cry of his young nephew rang in his head while on vacation with his partner, Paul. The death call desribed that Kevin had developed the same disease that Robert had as a child, but a much faster acting vesion that would surely take his nephew's life in the next few hours.

Robert felt helpless, being so many miles away from his nephew, he felt he could do nothing. His emotions overflowing again, something seemed to shift inside of him and a strange energy began to flow within him and two large, black wings shot out from his back.

Flying across oceans to rescue his nephew, Robert began taking Life Energy from people as he passed over them, using that ability for the first time in years. He decided that he should change his appearance and the strange energies added a black suit and coat over his beach clothing.

Robert arrived in time to rescue Kevin and decided that he could not escape being who he was and once again took on the mantle of Guardian Angel....his problems had only just begun.

Powers/ Equipment:

Guardian Angel has an abundant ammount of powers granted to him by having his DNA altered with that of a perfect fusion of angel and demon DNA, these include:

Life_Siphon/Allocation- Guardian Angel is able to absorb the very essense of life from any living being. This is known as "Life Energy" and Guardian Angel must be in vicinity in order to siphon it. Allocating Life Energy to another person, enables that person to heal from even the most serious and watal wounds if enough Life Energy is used. GA must be very close to a person in order to allocate Life Energy to them, if not directly touching them. GA can use the Life Energy on to himelf in order to heal from wounds but only does so if in dire need to as he feels it is a waste. GA ussually tends to take small portions from a large crowd rather than large portions from a smaller crowd or one person, but sometimes situations do not allow for preferences.

Death_Sense- Guardian Angel always hears millions of whispered voices in his head, informing him of every death in the world that is about to happen. He uses this power to locate those he can help.

Augmented Physical_Abilities- Guardian Angel's strength, speed, agility, and endurance have all been augmented sveral times over due to the hybrid DNA of the angel and demon. Each enity has physical abilities well surpassig that of even the peak of normal human ability. GA's attributes have been augmented beyond what those two were capable of and has the unique ability to push those abilities even further through experience.

Spiritual_Energy-The Angelic energy mixing with the Demonic energy created an interesting mixture of the two which GA refers to as Spiritual Energy. Spiritual Energy has the forming ability of Angelic Energy(used to make his outfit) and the destuctive power of Demonic energy. Throughout the series, GA will use Spiritual Energy to do many things, but for the most part it is used to generate very powerful blasts with which he uses to take his enemies down.

Winged Flight- Using Spiritual Energy, Guardian Angel can generate two large wings that he uses to fly at high speeds.

Spiritual Sword- Using Spiritual Energy, Guardian Angel can form a blade to help him battle his enemies in close combat.

Spiritual_Armor- Using Spiritual Energy, Guardian Angel covers his body in a protective black shell that can handle most damage. He first uses this ability in the battle against Armageddon to survive a blast that would have surely finished him off. The armor was later blown from his body when Armageddon exploded, revealing that it was not impervious to harm, but did provide significant protection.

Power Upgrade- After his battle with Armageddon, Guardian Angel is left in a coma for 6 months. During this time, a part of his soul trains in Heaven to become a Rising Soul, a human who is given the oppurtunity to become a powerful angel, but his training is cut short as he awakes. Powerless for a time, his powers finally reawaken against a second battle with Armageddon but it seems his training in Heaven and locked powers have given him a serious power upgrade.

1. He now sees how people will die just by looking at them, resulting in his isolation from those he cares about. He also sees his own death in a mirror as well as the death of the Earth itself.

2. He can now use Life Energy to fire blasts of energy far more powerful than Spiritual Energy, though he does not like to waste it as it can be put to use to help people.

3. He can cause Life Energy to explode within a person, see Life Energy all around him, and even solidify it in order to ricochet blasts or create thread-like whips around his foe.

After living with this upgrade for a bit, GA seeks help and the powers are repressed for the most part, though he will retain some- mainly the Life Energy Blasts.

Special Attacks- Guardian Angel develops some special attacks, each with their own unique use and effect.

Resistances- Gaurdian Angel has a slight physical resistance, he is able to take more than the average person though most things that hurt and average person will also hurt him.

He is immune to all human diseases, which is why his illness as a child cleared.

He discovers a slight immunity to telepathic powers when he encounters Mind Trap2, who could not read his thoughts due to his Death Sense being too "noisey" for her to hear through and she could not take over his mind as she could not manage to "talk over" the death voices. Ga is still very much vulnerable to other forms of psychic attacks such as blasts and illussions.

Weaknesses:

Moral_Dilemma- Guardian Angel is constantly faced with the moral dilemma of using his powers. Not only that, but he goes out of his way to help others in danger, even if it puts himself in a disadvantage in a fight, enemies who know this, exploit it.

Death Sense- While great for locating those in need, his Death Sense also serves as an annoyance during battle and adds to his overall stress as he feels the burdon of each death on his shoulders.

Chants- An order of monks who turned away from their God in order to worship demons foresaw GA's arrival several decades ago. Seeing him as a threat to their masters, they created chants derived from prayers to both the God they once worshiped and the demons. The chants have  variety of effects, from power loss, pain, mind control, even death. But GA must hear the whole chant in order for it to work.

Demon_Psyche- Later in the series, GA will discover that the psyches of Elsier and Russair are in his mind as well and he can communicate with the two. This will prove hazardous as Russail attempts to take over.
