History

For decades, Earth's superheroes have banded together for the common good. The Great Lakes Guardians are one such legendary group. Today, dozens of super-beings have affiliate-member status in the Guardians. Most of these do not like to (or cannot) leave their base city of operations.

Affiliate members still enjoy the sanction and support of the Great Lakes Guardians, and are obligated to respond to emergency calls. By contrast, a dedicated core of individuals maintain active-member status in the Guardians, and enforces its full-time efforts to resolving matters throughout the area wherever and whenever they arise.
