Description: The Devoro are an ancient race of creatures as old as mankind. They are invisible to most human eyes save a few people, and are untouchable except to an even fewer humans.

Why they are a threat: The Devoro survive by feeding off the emotional energies of humankind, draining people of their dreams and passions until the victims are apathetic drones. Naturally, people without passions or hopes are very easy to control. At this point, a Devoro can take over a human completely, becoming the new owner of the body. Throughout time, villains who have been aware of the Devoros' existence have tried to find a way to harness their power, thus robbing the world of any passion or spirit to make it easier to conquer.

Birthmother of the Devoro: Madam Morrigan, an ancient dark being. She collects spiritual energies to weave together Devoro, and is very vengeful to anyone who might hurt her precious creations.

Looks: The Devoro can come in just about any shape and size, often reflecting the thoughts and memories they consume. The more energy they consume, the more powerful they become.

Weaknesses: The Devoro are very slow at healing. They are vulnerable to Devoro slaying artifacts, such as the Kabuki Fan. They have trouble affecting people who are strong willed, and who refuse to let go of their dreams and beliefs.
