History:
The basics: He was an Mission Specialist on a shuttle mission. While performing an EVA (Extra-Vehicular Activity) he caught a the very edges of a blast of gamma radiation from a black hole. He was told that the event is called a Blazar, hence the name. It was later, during a training session at the NASA center, that he found he had new powers. NASA/Air Force knows about what happened. (If you have suggestions, let me know.)

Powers / Equipment:
Gamma Ray Blast - Concentrated gamma ray beams shoot from clinched fists.

Plasma Shield - Can create a shield of reasonable size and shape that will protect him from most physical attacks, He can shield one adult and himself.

Flight/Space Flight - He can fly, even in space. His Plasma Shield helps with re-entry into the atmosphere.

Gamma Disk - Disk worn on belt that helps him hone his gamma manipulation skills. It was created by NASA scientists. The Gamma Disk has been retired.
