Education: Bud majored in Environmental Science in college. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 4 years. Later on he went through ranger training with the U.S. Forestry Service, and then Conspiracy Ops training.

History:

 

Agent UNCLE who is he?

 

 

 

 

 

There is a lot of mystery surrounding this character. We seem to learn a little bit more and more about him every day.

 

 

Agent UNCLE is an agent with the Conspiracy Ops; A super-clandestine government agency.

 

 

 

 

Agent UNCLE was a forest ranger named Bud S. Acer. Yes, his initials are B.S.A. which has caused him to be subject on occasion to ridicule from friends and family who have noted that his ethics and morals are much like the Boy Scouts of America.

 

 

Ranger Bud once heard a noise coming from his basement. He grabbed his baseball bat and went down to investigate. When he got down there, he discovered broken glass, clumps of reddish-brown hair and a puddle of blue liquid. He noticed someone had either emptied or drank all of the beer in his private stock. He found one bottle that hadn’t been tampered with (or so he thought) and drank it. Shortly after that, he experienced missing time. Then he noticed when he went to the bathroom, his urine was blue.

 

 

Shortly after this, Bud became entangled in a government conspiracy web. It was discovered that the beer Bud drank that night, had been contaminated with Indigo Parasites which are alien parasites from Pluto. Aliens had deliberately contaminated his beer for some purpose. The treatment for these parasites caused side effects. UNCLE developed the ability to telepathically communicate with plants. He eventually was brought into the fold and made an agent of the Conspiracy Ops. As the months progressed, UNCLE was sent on a mission to the U.K. where he visited an ancient forest (The Forest Dean) and met with some Leprechauns. UNCLE discovered that if he ate some shamrocks that grow in the Forest Dean, the enzymes in the shamrocks activated something in UNCLE which gave him the ability to draw chlorophyll energy from plants and convert it to a green plasma energy which he can fire and hurl at enemies. He also developed the ability to secrete aloe. In one adventure, UNCLE was pricked with a thorn that had been coated with a poison that caused him to develop a mutation which manifested itself as a new power. He discovered that he can produce rose thorns on his hands and arms and hurl them. Later on he eventually married Agent Mixsae of the Conspiracy Ops and was given command of the Green Thunder Attack Helicopter Squad. Agent Mixsae is a 488 year-old fire elemental from Avalon.…but, that is a story worth reading on its own.

 

 

After numerous adventures and escapades, it was discovered by the Conspiracy Ops that there was an alternate universe that was a negative version of our own universe. It has been dubbed, the “NegaVerse”.  

 

 

An evil character from the NegaVerse frequently came into the lives of the Conspiracy Ops. He was the NegaVerse version of Agent UNCLE. He has been dubbed “NegaUNCLE”.

 

NegaUNCLE activates his orange plasma energy powers by eating spores from an orange NegaVerse mushroom. UNCLE’s green plasma energy cancels out NegaUNCLE’s orange plasma energy. Fights between these two are often long and grueling.

 

 

An alien bounty hunter once mistook UNCLE for NegaUNCLE and abducted UNCLE. UNCLE was transported to the “NuetralVerse”….yes, as the name implies, it is a neutral version of our universe. UNCLE was put on trial for the crimes of NegaUNCLE. It was then discovered that NegaUNCLE had a history of crime and chaos that raged through numerous planets, galaxies, alternate universes and dimensions. The Supreme Magistrate of the High Council of the NeutralVerse met with Santa Claus from our own universe. Santa convinced them that UNCLE was not NegaUNCLE. UNCLE was released and returned home for Christmas, but that is a story worth reading on its own.

 

 

One day NegaUNCLE came back into the lives of the Conspiracy Ops along with a NegaVerse version of Agent Mixsae who has been dubbed “NegaMixsae”. A series of events occurred that caused Mixsae to be killed. UNCLE became enraged and saddened. He became depressed and started developing a rogue persona. He became weak and allowed his emotions to take control of his actions. He kept to himself and did things outside of the proper protocols. He got involved in some shady dealings with aliens. He had surgery which resulted in new ocular implants that shield him from being neuralized by the Conspiracy Ops. He then managed to make a deal with some shady Leprechauns who upgraded Green Thunder with futuristic technology. UNCLE betrayed orders from his superiors and took Green Thunder to help an alien soldier fight a band of aliens that stole some of UNCLE’s DNA to create super soldiers. In the process, the Conspiracy Ops sent a chopper to pursue UNCLE and convince him to turn around. UNCLE chose to fire upon his colleagues and continue with his own agenda. He knew that his actions would not cause injury or death so he didn't perceive them to be wrong….But that is a story worth reading on its own.

 

 

Agent Mixsae’s relatives found a way to alter the time line and restore time at the moment prior to Mixsae’s death at the precise moment UNCLE was engaging the jump engines on Green Thunder to try and make it to the NegaVerse so he could get revenge for Mixsae’s death and kill NegaUNCLE. But UNCLE was shielded by the temporal shielding onboard Green Thunder and the shift in time interacted with the engines on Green Thunder. When the timeline changed, UNCLE was thrown into an astral plane outside of time and space. When this happened, UNCLE was torn into two separate beings. Light UNCLE, and Dark UNCLE.

 

 

Light UNCLE was an exaggerated version of UNCLE before Mixsae died. All his good and ethical qualities were super-exaggerated. Dark UNCLE, was just the opposite. He was a super-exaggerated version of all that was dark and unethical about UNCLE.

 

 

Dark UNCLE thought he was still UNCLE. Light UNCLE thought he was still UNCLE. No one knew what was going on. UNCLE didn’t know the time line had been changed. He didn’t know Mixsae was alive. Light UNCLE did not know there was a Dark UNCLE out there somewhere willing to do anything to get home.

 

 

An astral plane being known as the “Caretaker” perceived Dark UNCLE as being from the NegaVerse so she sent him there. She sent him to the NegaVerse one year into the past because she thought that’s where he belonged. Dark UNCLE met up with NegaUNCLE, only it was NegaUNCLE before he joined the NegaVerse Conspiracy Ops. It was NegaBud S. Acer who was a lumberjack. At this point in his life, NegaBud had not really done anything too terribly wrong or evil. He had no knowledge of the Conspiracy Ops, or that there was an alternate universe. He had no knowledge of Mixsae or NegaMixsae. He didn’t understand who Dark UNCLE was, or why he was confronting him. Dark UNCLE killed the NegaVerse version of Bud without even realizing he was in the past. He thought he was killing NegaUNCLE in the present.

 

 

Dark UNCLE made his way to Antarctica to meet with the NegaVerse version of Santa Claus, A.K.A. “NegaSanta”, hoping NegaSanta would possess the ability to send him home to his own time and universe. NegaSanta has a time portal device which can do the job, but he wanted Dark UNCLE to work for him first. Dark UNCLE decided he will do as NegaSanta asks, hoping he can learn and watch how the machine works. He hopes to gain NegaSanta’s trust so that one day when no one suspects anything, he can gain access to the machine and send himself home….but he wants to return to the day Mixsae died, and bring her back. He wants to change history. He hates what he has become. But at this point he will do anything he can, even commit crimes to win the chance of going back and changing history; to take back his life. He doesn’t know what has been happening in his own time and universe. He is clueless. He has nothing but pain and despair to drive him forward. This story-line have rise to new spin-off series of stories called "The Dark UNCLE Saga: Rise of NegaUNCLE". We can deduce that Dark UNCLE becomes his own nemesis, NegaUNCLE.

 

 

Back in the original time-line, Light UNCLE has been infected with lycanthropy by genetically engineered canids by his new nemesis "Reverend Justus Q. Higby" who is a master of disguise. Higby's orgins are not known. He appears to be an ancient and powerful being with origins outside of our universe. Curiously, there are no alternate versions of Higby. There is no NegaHigby or NeutralHigby. Only one Higby which has led to speculation that he might be from outside of time and space as we know it. He has connections with the NegaVerse Trans-Temporal and Dimesnional Crime Syndicate. He is also working with a sadistic and criminal mastermind known as Dr.Adolph VonHacking.

 

Light UNCLE has transfomed into a werewolf in more recent story-lines. When Light UNCLE chased NegaUNCLE into a time portal device he ended up getting caught in a strange temporal paradox concerning his own origins. As he chased NegaUNCLE back through the time portal to his own time period, he was in Lycan form and as Light UNCLE and NegaUNCLE fought in the temporal threshhold of the portal device, the machine took damages and the energy surge caused what appears to have been the destruction of NegaUNCLE as he was vaporized into energy, the energy was absorbed by Light UNCLE and Light UNCLE remerged with his dark half, thus becoming whole again. Now that he is once again just plain old UNCLE, there is a great deal of uncertainty about his powers and state of mind.

Powers / Equipment:

 

UNCLE has quite a bit of outdoor survival skills. He is at home in the wilderness.

 

 

UNCLE has some hand-to-hand combat training as well as firearms training.

 

Hurls Green Plasma energy.

 

Secretes aloe which protects against burns, injuries, and promotes healing and regeneration.

 

Rose thorn attack.

Telepathic communication with plants. Most plants are not very smart, but older ones like trees and cacti have more to say. UNCLE had a ptted cactus in his office named "Cactus Jack" who wore a flannel shirt. Cactus Jack originally lived in the desert outside of Roswell, New Mexico and had much to tell UNCLE.  

 

UNCLE can gain "forest vision" by inserting his fingers into the soil of the forest floor and telepathically asking the forest plant community to give him sight.

 

 

UNCLE has a specially designed HumVee which was created by his colleague Senior Agent MechaLance. It is equipped with many features including "grow lights".

 

UNCLE is in command of "Green Thunder" an attack helicopter which contains Leprechaun technology from the 26th century. It also has a cappucino maker onboard.

 

 

 

In some of the more recent story lines, Light UNCLE transformed into a werewolf. No one is sure if this condition still exists or not since his battle with NegaUNCLE in the time portal device in Albuquerque.

 

 

Weaknesses:

UNCLE is mesmerized by women with blue hair.

 

UNCLE cannot use his powers if he runs out of shamrocks, or if there are no plant organisms around to draw energy from.

 

There is a remote possibility that metal objects made of silver may be lethal to UNCLE. Not much is known about it at this time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Agent UNCLE's mission patch reads: "homo homini lupus, post tenebras lux"

 

This is a combination of two ancient Roman phrases with a spin on the meanings. "homo homini lupus" means: Man is wolf, to man. While post tenebras lux means: Light comes after the darkness. The Roman saying, "Man is wolf to man" meant that men will prey on each other. In this case, the meaning is a tongue-in-cheek expression meaning this man [UNCLE] is a lycanthopic character, who brings light when the darkness falls, referring to
